Common questions
What families usually want to know.
Do you write or rewrite assignments for students?
No. I help students understand the reading, develop their own ideas, organize an argument, and revise their own work. The finished essay remains fully theirs.
Can sessions be online?
Yes. Online sessions are available and work especially well for screen-sharing drafts, close reading, and live revision. Local in-person availability is limited.
What should a student bring to the first session?
Bring the assignment prompt, the text being studied, any teacher feedback, and whatever notes or draft you already have—even if it feels unfinished.
Is this only for students who are struggling?
Not at all. Some students need a clearer process; others already write well and want to make their thinking sharper, more original, and more persuasive.
